Theresa Burke

Theresa has been a valued member of the Quinte Orthopaedics team since 2019, bringing a wealth of experience and a compassionate approach to the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries.
She holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Dalhousie University and a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from Queen’s University.
Her diverse clinical experience spans several provinces—including New Brunswick, Ontario, and Saskatchewan—allowing her to develop a well-rounded and adaptable approach to patient care.
Theresa is also certified in acupuncture, dry needling, soft tissue release, and manual therapy, and in movement analysis, and holds a Functional Intermuscular Stimulation (FIMS) course credential, all of which support her commitment to evidence-based, holistic rehabilitation. In addition, she holds a 200-hour Yoga Alliance teaching certification. While she is not currently teaching yoga classes, Theresa thoughtfully incorporates yoga philosophies and techniques into her treatment plans, enhancing patient recovery and well-being.
Outside of the clinic, Theresa is a busy mom of three and shares her home with a gentle Great Dane. Her passion for learning and dedication to her patients continue to shape her evolving practice.
